Our Team

We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a love for God, people, service and real connection.

Dean and Pam Dempsey

Dean Dempsey is a dedicated minister at the Tuba City Church of Christ, where he bridges the rich heritage of the Navajo Nation with a profound commitment to the Gospel. Born and raised on the reservation, his life and ministry are deeply rooted in the land and the cultural traditions of his people.

Dean’s sermons are known for their unique harmony, weaving together the teachings of Jesus with traditional Navajo values to offer a message of faith that resonates with the local community. By honoring the wisdom of the past while looking toward the promise of the future, he provides a spiritual home for those seeking a deeper connection to both their faith and their identity.

Outside of the pulpit, Dean is a devoted family man. He shares his life with his wife and their three children, finding his greatest joy in raising the next generation within the heart of the Navajo Nation.

Eric and Tracy Kee

Scott Peterson serves as the Operations and Facilities Manager at the Tuba City Church of Christ, a role he has held with dedication for the past five years. Known for his humility and generous spirit, Scott is the backbone of the church’s physical campus, ensuring that the facilities are always prepared to welcome the community.

Beyond his technical and managerial responsibilities, Scott leads the Wood Ministry, where he combines his professional oversight with a personal passion for craftsmanship. An avid woodworker and carver, he finds fulfillment in creating tangible expressions of service, often using his skills to provide warmth and support to those in need.

When he isn’t managing the church grounds or working in the shop, Scott enjoys the quiet of the outdoors, particularly camping. Above all, he is a devoted family man—a single father of two and a proud grandfather of one—who carries his commitment to stewardship and kindness into every aspect of his life.

Eric and Tracy Kee served the Tuba City Church of Christ with steadfast devotion for 12 years, playing a vital role in the spiritual life of the community. During a significant period of transition following the passing of a long-beloved missionary, Eric’s leadership provided the stability and grace needed to carry the congregation forward.

Deeply connected to his Navajo heritage, Eric brought a unique appreciation for beauty and craftsmanship to his ministry, fueled by his passion for jewelry and the arts. Together, the Kees raised their three children within the heart of the Navajo Nation, fostering a legacy of faith and service that continues to be felt today.

While they have moved on to new roles in Arkansas, Eric and Tracy remain cherished ambassadors for the Tuba City Church of Christ. They continue to bridge their deep roots in the Southwest with their current work, maintaining a lasting bond with the community they called home for over a decade.
